Share a Marine Air Conditioning Project

Help another boat owner understand a real installation, repair or maintenance job. We welcome documented contributions from owners and marine service providers.

What Makes a Useful Boat Cooling Case Study?

Describe the problem, the boat and the conditions first. Explain what was inspected, which options were considered and why the final approach was chosen. Separate measured results from personal impressions. We review submissions before deciding whether to publish them.

  • Boat type and length; approximate region rather than a private berth address.
  • Original symptoms or cooling requirements and the equipment involved.
  • Work performed, scope exclusions, timing and any access constraints.
  • Actual costs only if documented and approved for publication; say whether GST is included.
  • Before-and-after photographs you own or have permission to share.
  • Measured results with conditions and method, or clearly identified owner observations.
  • Provider attribution and permission to identify the business and vessel.

Update a Provider Listing Through YouSail

Provider names, services and contact facts are maintained in YouSail’s marine refrigeration directory. Use the provider’s YouSail profile to request corrections or contact us with its URL. We do not turn a submitted project into unverified claims about a provider’s qualifications or nationwide coverage.

Project articles will be labelled as owner or provider contributions, with dates, sources and disclosed commercial relationships where relevant. Read our editorial policy.
