Short version: an enquiry form, no newsletter, no advertising trackers, and your details are used to answer you and nothing else. The detail is below.
Enquiry Data, Analytics and Server Logs
If you use the contact form: your name, your email, whatever you tell us about the boat, and your message. The embedded YouSail form is hosted by Paperform and indicates which fields are required. Details you submit are processed through Paperform so YouSail can respond.
Aggregate visit statistics — pages viewed, roughly where in the world, what device. We use this to decide what to write next. It is not used to build a profile of you and it is not sold.
Our host records standard request logs, including IP addresses, for security and diagnostics. These are retained for a short period and then discarded.
The calculators keep their settings only in the page you are on. Nothing about your boat, your quote or your figures is sent to us or stored between visits.
Mailing Lists, Data Sales and Advertising Trackers
There is no newsletter. Sending us an enquiry does not subscribe you to anything, because there is nothing to subscribe to.
We do not sell, rent or trade contact details. Not to manufacturers, not to installers, not to anyone.
No advertising pixels, no remarketing tags, no third-party ad networks. The only measurement is a page-view counter served from this domain, described below.
We never give your details to an installer without asking you first, and we tell you which installer and that a referral fee applies.
Privacy When Requesting Installer Referrals
If you ask us for a quote, we may introduce you to an installer near you. Before we pass anything on we tell you who they are and that we may receive a referral fee. You can say no, and most of the time we will simply tell you who to ring so you can approach them yourself.
Once your details are with an installer, their own privacy practices apply to what they do with them. We choose who we introduce people to, but we do not control them.

Access, Correction and Deletion Requests
Under the Australian Privacy Principles you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. Write to us and we will do it — there is no process to go through and we will not ask why.
This site is operated from Australia. Our host may process data outside Australia, which is normal for web hosting and is worth knowing.
How Website Page-View Analytics Work
We count page views using Vercel Web Analytics, which our host provides. It records the page visited, the referring page, and coarse details like country and device type. It sets no cookies, it does not use a device fingerprint, and it cannot follow you to other websites. There is no advertising identifier and nothing is sold or shared.
The page counter is served from this domain. The contact page also loads an external Paperform script and embedded form; your browser connects to Paperform to display it. Provider logos may load from URLs supplied by YouSail. Core guides and provider links remain readable without scripts; optional search and enquiry-building tools require JavaScript.
Updated on 5 October 2026 to explain the embedded YouSail contact form hosted by Paperform. If it changes materially we will note the change here rather than update it silently.
Installer Brief Tool
The installer brief tool formats the details you enter in your browser. It does not submit those details to us or a provider, and it does not retain a draft after you leave the page. Copying or downloading the brief creates a copy under your control. You decide whether and where to share it.
